At Easter I got a little gift from my favorite cousin Andrea. Even if I have not needed it by now, I think it’s still a pretty cute idea.
Besides this gift has also an adorable little background history, which I’d like to share with you. Maybe you might end up loving it as much as I do.
When children in Guatemala have worries, the Indians tell them an old story. Parents or Grandparents tell the children, that if they have worries, they simply should tell them to the worry dolls. At bedtime, the children should take one doll from the box for each worry they have and share this particular worry with the doll. Overnight, this doll will solve the child’s worry. But; since there are only six dolls, no more than six worries per day are allowed.
