Rain Symphony

With wide open windows, comfortably wrapped in the cozy snugness of my living room I could sit here for hours. and listen to the summer rain, playing an afternoon openair concert. Sometimes quiet, sometimes loud patter the drops down. Lapping rhythmically, not only on the ground, but also on roof tiles and window sills, gutters and glass panes. The pitch varies depending on intensity sounds sometimes harsh, sometimes gentle while the lush green leaves rustle on the trees, driven by the wind. No birds sing their songs, only the rain plays softly a symphony. I love rainy days like this.
